SUPPORT HUB

Technical support hub & system diagnosis

Because FolioCore operates within strict air-gapped environments, our support process is built from the ground up to protect your client data. We cannot look inside your application remotely, we do not capture telemetry, and we have zero cloud access.

How to request assistance

If you encounter processing anomalies, engine stalls or licensing issues, use the built-in diagnosis pipeline to generate an encrypted, anonymized diagnostic log package.

1

Open FolioCore on your Mac.

2

Click the gear icon on the title bar, or open Settings → Support.

3

Click Export Diagnostic Report.

4

The app builds a secure archive of hardware details, version flags, licensing state and the last 48 hours of system logs. No document text, PII or client details are ever included.

5

Email the generated file to support@foliocore.pro with a clear description of your issue.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the system say "Feature Gated" or limit certain modes?

Advanced features like Chat with Document and Constellation Deep require an Apple Silicon Mac with at least 16GB of unified RAM to initialize and host our 12-billion-parameter local LLM without system lag. If your machine has 8GB of RAM, baseline operations remain fully functional, but deep generative tools are disabled to guarantee hardware safety.

Does FolioCore modify my files?

Never. FolioCore operates on a strict, non-destructive read-only layer. It generates an external vector map cache and displays highlights on a secure UI overlay. The underlying cryptographic hash of your PDF or signed document remains completely unaltered.

Does FolioCore work without an internet connection?

Yes. FolioCore is an air-gapped desktop application. All indexing, embedding, checklist matching and local LLM execution happen on your Mac with no network calls required. Connectivity is never needed to analyze a document.

Which Macs are supported?

FolioCore requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1, M2, M3 or M4) running macOS 14.0 or later. Baseline analysis runs on 8GB of unified memory; the advanced local Gemma 4 12B LLM features require 16GB or more. Intel Macs are not supported.
